University of South Bohemia

University of South Bohemia (USB) in České Budějovice with nearly 9000 students, was founded in 1991.

Faculty of Sciences was founded in 2007 by expanding the former Faculty of Biological Sciences (1991).

Campus (built in 1970’s) is situated on the north-west edge of the city, between suburbs, park and fields. It is fully equipped with school canteen, residential halls, rector’s office, library, lecture rooms and in 2009, new library and rector’s office was built.
